About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to plan, supervise, and optimize daily production operations. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and skilled at balancing output targets with quality, safety, and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Supervision
Plan and supervise daily production activities to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure production targets are consistently achieved on time.
Manage production workers, shift schedules, and daily workflow.
Quality & Equipment Management
Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to production standards.
Ensure machinery and equipment are properly operated, maintained, and serviced to minimize downtime.
Cost & Resource Control
Identify opportunities to reduce production waste and unnecessary costs.
Monitor raw materials and production inventory to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Coordinate with the Accountant and General Manager on production costs and resource requirements.
Reporting & Compliance
Maintain accurate production records and prepare daily/weekly performance reports.
Ensure workplace safety procedures and protocols are strictly followed on the production floor.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Production, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in a production management role.
Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience supervising production workers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot operational issues quickly.
Preferred Attributes
Experience with lean manufacturing, waste-reduction, or process-improvement initiatives.
Familiarity with shift scheduling and workforce planning.
Strong understanding of workplace safety standards and compliance.
